Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Western Artist Nancy Hodge attended Kent State University with a major in Art education. She taught art in private and public schools and has been recognized by various institutions and organizations with many awards. Individuals, like Country Western Singer Tanya Tucker are among the many art collectors in the United States to include her works of unique western art in their private collections. Nancy's paintings of horses, western women, Amercian Indians and yes, cats use a variety of materials and mediums including watercolors, acrylics, collage and inks to convey her images. Nancy presently resides in Ventura, California with Georgie, her muse, and her husband of 35 years, David Hodge. Together they have owned and operated their successful online antique gun web site D&N Mercantile for more than 10 years and are also avid Civil War enthusiasts.
